The green walkway
The Promenade Verte (Green Walkway) is a wonderful route of more than 60 km for walkers and cyclists to do a tour of the Region through numerous parks and protected nature areas. The delight of this trail lies largely in the amazing variety of its landscapes. In some places, real countryside scenes open up in front of you. At other stages, it’s beautifully kept parks, groves of trees or marke gardens that you see...

Walk in the forêt de Soignes
The Forest of Soignes plays a role of paramount importance in the life of the people of Brussels. A marvellous beech forest which in 1822 still covered 12,000 hectares. Today, alas, only a third of it remains.
L'ancienne voie ferrée
This 6-km trail follows the old 160 railway line through the green districts of Auderghem, Woluwe Saint Lambert and Woluwe Saint Pierre. The walkway avoids all contact with the traffic, thanks to footbridges positioned all along the trail, and crosses a series of leafy-green areas with a few places to stop for the children. Perfect for a bike ride. (Along boulevard du Souverain and boulevard de la Woluwe)
